Hones’ Review: This is a fun little book about a family who buys a farm and the silly dog, Patch, that runs and barks at all of the animals until the learn how to communicate with Patch. The best part of the book is the fact that kids just starting to read can read it and then the lower level as they advance in their abilities. My younger child liked to read the top level while my older child then read the lower level. They really enjoyed being able to read a book together that challenged both of them.
Recommended for ages 4-8.
