Best-selling author Rick Riordan presents the breathtaking conclusion to Roshani Chokshi’s New York Times best-selling Pandava quintet. Will the Sleeper gain immortality or be stopped once and for all?

*”A deeply satisfying conclusion to a superb, groundbreaking series.”–Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

The Pandavas only have until the next full moon to stop the Sleeper from gaining access to the nectar of immortality, which will grant him infinite power. But how can Aru, Mini, and Brynne hope to defeat him without their celestial weapons? The Sleeper and his army are already plundering the labyrinth, and the sisters can’t even enter. Their quest to get in will have them calling on old friends, meeting new allies, and facing fearsome trials, like…performing in a rock concert? When the moment of confrontation finally arrives, it’s up to Aru to decide who deserves immortality, the devas or the asuras. The most unexpected answer will come from a most unexpected place.

More surprises and delights, gods and demons, and laughs and tears await in this immensely satisfying conclusion to the wild ride that began with the lighting of a lamp.

I’M TERRIFIED OF BATH TIME Tour and Giveaway

April 11, 2022 By Heather Leave a Comment

I am thrilled to be hosting a spot on the I’M TERRIFIED OF BATH TIME by Simon Rich & Tom Toro Blog Tour hosted by Rockstar Book Tours. Check out my post and make sure to enter the giveaway!

About The Book:

Title: I’M TERRIFIED OF BATH TIME

Author: Simon Rich & Tom Toro

Pub. Date: April 5, 2022

Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers

Formats: Hardcover, eBook, Audiobook

Pages: 40

Find it: Goodreads, Amazon, Audible, B&N, iBooks Audiobook, Kobo Audiobook, TBD, Bookshop.org

A hilarious and clever bath-time picture book by humorist, novelist, and TV writer Simon Rich, with illustrations by Tom Toro (How to Potty Train Your Porcupine).

And so begins a hilarious dip into the choppy waters of a nightly ritual that parents and children alike often dread. Filled with soapsuds, rubber duckies, and existential angst, Simon Rich’s debut picture book is a splashy tale of cleanliness—and survival. This irreverent read-aloud treat about facing fear and embracing adventure might just change the way you see bath time (and your bathroom) forever.

Reviews:

“A visual (and comedic) feast for budding smart-alecks.”―Patton Oswalt

“Along with offering a bit of bathroom behavior modification, this is, undeniably, storytime gold for young audiences large or small.”―Booklist

“This delightful picture book turns the widespread phenomenon of toddler bathtime fears on its head…The book’s skillfully crafted storyline will appeal to children as well as adults working to avoid meltdowns when little ones have a wash. … A refreshing, amusing approach to overcoming ablutophobia in small children.” ―Kirkus

REVIEW: What toddler at some point hasn’t been afraid of the tub or the toilet? What happens when things reverse and the tub is afraid of the toddler? It’s fun to see the perspective of what a bathtub must endure at the hands of its small occupant. Short, comical and a great way to distract young readers from bath time fears. Thanks LittleBrown Young Readers for the ecopy for review.

FASHIONABLE DISASTER by Laura Brown, Elly Kramer, Sarah Mensinga (Illustrator) Tour

March 18, 2022 By Heather Leave a Comment

I am thrilled to be hosting a spot on the FASHIONABLE DISASTER by Laura Brown, Elly Kramer, Sarah Mensinga (Illustrator) Blog Tour hosted by Rockstar Book Tours. Check out my post and make sure to enter the giveaway!

About The Book:

Title: FASHIONABLE DISASTER (Trillium Sisters #3)

Author: Laura Brown, Elly Kramer, Sarah Mensinga (Illustrator)

Pub. Date: March 15, 2022

Publisher: Pixel+Ink

Formats: Hardcover, Paperback, eBook

Pages: 496

Find it: Goodreads, Amazon, Kindle, B&N, iBooks, Kobo, TBD, Bookshop.org

Being bossy leads to big problems, and only the Trills coming together can save the day in the third book in the Trillium Sisters series, perfect for fans of Mia Mayhem and The Wish Fairy.

When the Trills discover a rocky enclosure with natural hot spring while hiking, they realize it could be the location for the perfect new addition to the village–a spa! But all of the supplies they’ll need aren’t going to come cheap, so they decide they’ll organize a fashion show to raise funds. Luckily, everyone in Trillsville is willing to lend a hand to make the show a success.

As the local fashionista, Clare thinks she’s the clear choice to be in charge. But instead of leading, she’s just super bossy, refusing to listen to anyone else’s input. After an epic Trills blowup, rain leads to a landslide, leaving Clare trapped inside the enclosure and Giselle and Emmy on the other side of the rock wall, unable to help her. Will the sisters be able to put aside their differences to join forces (and join charms) so they can channel their powers and skills into getting Clare free?

With energetic black-and-white illustration throughout, Fashionable Disaster focuses on family, community, environmental stewardship, and learning to work together as a team, continuing this magical series.
